How to interpret fees, recommendations and historical activity.
Gas measures EVM computation. The execution fee is the gas actually used multiplied by the effective gas price.
The network sets the base fee. A priority fee is an additional tip. The current estimates show both components separately.
Wallets can use different fee samples and add buffers. These estimates target upcoming blocks; execution requirements and changing prices affect the final fee.
Each cell summarizes executed transactions in one UTC hour. Gas price is the arithmetic mean paid, so outliers can raise it. Fees shows the average fee per transaction; Transactions shows the count. Color compares values within the selected window.
Standard is a balanced starting point, Low suits flexible timing, and Fast uses the higher fee estimate. Confirmation times are estimates, not guarantees.
The sampled priority fees can be equal. The displayed estimates then match; choosing a different label cannot guarantee faster inclusion.
